The Trbovlje hospital was built in 1925, the funds for which came from the mining Brotherhood Fund, which took care of the health and pension care of miners, so it was initially intended only for the treatment of miners and their families. Today, it is a regional hospital that provides health care at the secondary level. The original building is a protected monument and is clearly separated from the later extensions that were needed due to the expansion of activities. The park in front of the entrance to the hospital is adorned with Kalin’s statue of the Mother with the child.
