The Hunter’s Mansion is considered to be the oldest house in Trbovlje. According to the story, the current house was built on the foundations of a hunting castle built by the Counts of Celje for their hunting guards. Later, the building served as a manor office and a station for tobacco supervisors, until it was bought by Jakob and Marija Peklar, who arranged an inn and a butcher’s shop there. In 1925 it was taken over by Ljudmila Arzenšek, whose surname became inextricably linked with the house. After it almost collapsed, it was completely restored and today it serves as a protocol facility of the Municipality of Trbovlje with a wedding hall.
