The workshop will be led by prof. of art pedagogy Pika Gačnik and is intended for each participant to create their own unique useful souvenir. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own motif tied to Trbovlje or the topic of the visit, which will later be printed on a cotton bag. The motif will be printed on the fabric using the screen printing technique using everyday materials or “Domestic” screen printing, developed by Jakob Puh. The motif will be transferred to a sieve made at home from recycled everyday materials, and then each participant will be able to print the motif with special textile inks on their cotton bag. The final product will be a uniquely printed carrying cotton bag. Each participant will be able to take their product/souvenir home. The finished products are suitable for use and washing.
The workshop can also be adapted and changed according to the wishes of each group.
The price includes 2 hours of workshops for one person, all the necessary art material, a prepared homemade printing screen and a cotton bag. After the end of the workshop, everyone also gets their own unique souvenir.
